Award Winning, Crocheted Wool Eater Blanket made for my Husband, Rick.<\/h1>\n

I entered this blanket into the Manatee County Fair and won 1st Place in January.\u00a0 I used Homespun yarn, by Lion Brand, in this project. Homespun is a bulky yarn.\u00a0 It made the blanket very heavy and very soft.\u00a0 My husband just loves it and so do it.\u00a0 It covers most of our king size bed, but not completely.\u00a0 I had to lay it on the dinning room floor and stand on a step stool to get the pics of the whole blanket.\u00a0 I so enjoy being creative with fiber arts, it is very laxing.<\/h1>\n

I used 16 skeins of yarn in it.\u00a0 About $65.00 worth of yarn.<\/h2>\n

I entered 9 items in the Fair this year, 4 jewelry, 4 crochet, and 1 fused glass, and I won 7 1st Place awards and 2 2nd Place awards.\u00a0 This is my 3 year entering the Fair and it is a lot of fun.\u00a0 I encourage everyone to enter you local county fair.\u00a0 More pics to come here on the blog of my award wining entries.<\/h2>\n
