You need jewelry that is unique and elegant.\u00a0 You need quality jewelry that is created with you in mind and that is <\/span><\/strong>fun to wear, yet will last.\u00a0 Jewelry that makes you feel beautiful every time you wear it, and feel elegant as you wear it, with little effort.\u00a0 <\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

That’s where my <\/span>“ELEGANT ART YOU CAN WEAR.<\/span>” <\/span>comes in.\u00a0 <\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

I am formally trained in jewelry design, metalsmithing, glass fusing, <\/span><\/strong>and silk painting; and I am self-taught in<\/span><\/strong> lampwork glass bead making, knitting, crochet, spinning and weaving.\u00a0 I love fashion, I love design, I love fiber arts and I love jewelry.\u00a0 I am constantly thinking of ways jewelry, silks and fiber arts will make you feel elegant in your daily life with the simple ease of adding an accessory to your wardrobe.<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

Every piece of my jewelry, silks and fiber arts are created by me here in my art studio, Lee Shore Studio, in Bradenton, Florida.\u00a0 Each piece is a one-of-a-kind original design.\u00a0 All silks and fiber arts are created in a pet free, smoke free environment, with your health and safety in mind.

My husband laughingly says we have a foundry (4 kilns and multiple torches).\u00a0 <\/strong><\/span>I have also dabbled in fiber arts since I was a young girl, teaching myself to knit at 12 and learning crochet at 17 as a Foreign Exchange Student to Cyprus in high school.\u00a0 A few years ago I added free form crochet and weaving to my skill sets and now I am learning to spin fiber into yarn on a spinning wheel.\u00a0<\/span> <\/strong><\/p>\n

I also write my own original Crochet Patterns and have them posted here on my Blog<\/a><\/span> and on Ravelry<\/span><\/a>.\u00a0 I discovered Free Form Crochet (crocheting without a pattern, creating as you go using different textures, types and thicknesses of yarns, and different stitches), a few years ago, which is very relaxing and fun for me. My Free Form Fiber Arts creations have been published in the International Freeform Fiberarts Guild annual Challenges<\/span><\/a> for each year 2013 – 2019.
\n<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

\"SANY0003\"<\/a><\/span><\/strong>An Award Winning, Free Form Wall Hanging titled “Blues”, contains all different colors, textures
\nand types of blue yarn, and also has incorporated into it some of fused glass and some
\nlampwork glass beads.\u00a0 ‘Blues’ has a home on my Dinning Room Wall.
\nBlues was created for the 2014 International Freeform Fiberarts Guild <\/strong>Challenge.
\n<\/span><\/span>\"RIMG0690\"<\/a><\/strong>Blues won a First Place Rosette at the Manatee County Fair in January 2015.<\/span>
\nThe Note on the back of my entry form written by the Judge says, “Beautiful & Very Original”.<\/span><\/h5>\n

My husband Rick and I have made our home in Bradenton, Florida for the past 25 years, and we love it here.\u00a0 We have been married for over 47 years.\u00a0 We have 2 children, a son and a daughter, grown and married.\u00a0 They, and their wonderful spouses have given us 7 amazingly wonderful grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren.\u00a0 We thoroughly enjoy being grandparents and spoiling them rotten!

I love teaching art.\u00a0 (See my “Classes<\/a>“<\/span> page for more information on the Classes I teach.)\u00a0 We enjoy spending time with our children and grandchildren teaching them art.\u00a0 They in turn love spending time with me in my art studio and being creative whenever they come to visit.

My Husband Rick is a Musician and hobbyist Guitar Builder.\u00a0 He enjoys being creative too.\u00a0 He also dabbles with some glass fusing and glass bead making.<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n
